Gallery Navrathan:

Navarathan (Sanskrit: नवरत्न) is a Sanskrit compound word meaning "nine gems". Jewellery created in this style has important cultural significance in Indian religions of Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Islam and Christianity.
Likewise, the gallery Navarathan is the dream and vision of Gautham Chand ji owner of Navrathan Jewellers seeks to showcase diverse art forms glorifying the contemporary period. The idea is to bring upcoming thoughts, proposals as well as discourses on various art fields to the fore on the leading platform. Navarathan aims to provide a space for art enthusiasts, marketers and collectors to  interact and explore the emerging talents.

About the Curator:

Kapil Kapoor is the principal Curator of Gallery Navrathan, a Bangalore based art gallery. He is also the Curator of this thought provoking show. Kapil specializes in Sculpture and has been involved with various contemporary art scenes of India. Working for about 15 years under one of the most renowned Indian artist Satish Gujral, lead him to refine his art forms and techniques. With over 20 years of experience, he has invented an impeccable style that makes him stand out amongst all. Kapil's works are awarded, represented and auctioned at an international level. He tries to focus on bridging the gap between art and the public in this contemporary scenario.

ABOUT THE SHOW:


  "प्रद्युतित"- "Beginning to shine” is an art group show of 48 artists from all over the India. Kapil kapoor feels that every artist is special. He says “An artwork is not just capable of holding a perception of the artist but it holds the perception of viewer. Artwork can motivate, provoke, inspire and make you think and contemplate. The work displaying at the exhibition will also strike a conversation will the viewer and made them think. in new contemporary world of art, our aim is to bring up the most talented artists, those are uncut diamonds and gems of Indian Art scenario  . Now, there are many artists who need motivation, recognition and popularity to keep going and my exhibition aims for the same." 
We are holding this show to promote the art in Bengaluru. Exhibition will be open on 29th of November 2019 till 14th December 2019.

Mayor Mr.Gauthom Kumar and deputy mayor Mr.Ram mohan Raju CR are coming to give their wishes to Artists,Prof. Akumal Ramchandaran will also join us for Opening.

Famous cartoonist/illustrator Uday Shankar will give demonstration during exhibition .
He had a long tenure with The Times of India group and has the unique distinction of having drawn more than 5000 portraits of national and international celebrities, most of which have appeared in the pages of The Times of India, the world’s largest circulated broadsheet daily, with which he was associated as a cartoonist and illustrator for many years .

He is the chief judge of TIMES OF INDIA organized “DURGE DEVI NAMASTUTE” for selecting best pujas in Delhi and NCR, for last 9 years.
