L'Abre D'Or le foundry .Since ever, we only cooperate with specialized dealers for the quality decoration articles.
Our statues are made using the technologies of “lost wax” or “with sand”in the best tradition of the makers of bronze in our region.
After casting and after getting rid of the wire edges of a piece, our statues are scoured and polished before being entirely chased in order to give to each detail the precision and the outlook wished by the sculptor.
The exactitude of the original piece is our constant care.
Our patina is realized using the old methods which are carefully kept and transmitted from one generation to the other one. Museums and antique dealers regularly ask us to give back its old polished up outside at a damaged patina.
On the contrary, the editions of pieces of to-day artists are treated in cooperation with these ones. We often give free rein to our imagination to propose them a new patina and new finishing.
Foundry l'Arbre D'Or originates with the far past of foundry craftsmen in the region around Liège in Belgium.
The oldest documents of our foundry dated from 1921.
At the moment and till 1952, the foundry “L’Arbre D’Or”was managed by Monsieur Georges Dequinze. It was managed after that by Monsieur Wilkin till the 3rd of August 1970.
Since that date, Pierre Hardy, engineer, has been managing the foundry “L’Arbre D’Or”as managing director of Ets HARDY SA (Ltd.)
Since 1971 the foundry " L'Arbre D'Or " is established in Noville-les-Bois, small village situated along the Meuse between the French border and Liège.
Since 1978, the foundry L’Arbre D’Or was shifted India and established in Aligarh a small town in India, here it runs under the title of Indian Fine Art Cottage Industries.
Toady we are trying to help not even the upcoming artist, established artists but those also those are not artist by profession but artist by nature from all over the India. These days our artist not even making sculptures, paintings but many things those are useful and beautiful.
We are also helping AIDS infected people, poor farmers and handicapped people by giving them work in our foundry and by helping through our NGO Vasudha Kalyani samiti, Varanasi(U.P), those are helping such kind of people. We are not keeping profit with us but circulate it to society.
We ask you to help those people by just buying artifacts or artwork from our co.; by that you will not even by good art work for your home as well as you will help the society n such big hearted artists.
